A call for feedback
Is it worth my time to post recipes here? Do any of y’all actually use them in any way?

I’ve printed out about half of your recipes to put in my “try this when I have time, which may be never, but I can hope” file. I’ve also sent a few folks over to this blog, because of the recipes. I do what I can. But I’m only one man, struggling against the tides of apathy.
I’ll admit, I haven’t made any of them… but I’m one of those people that read recipes like poetry. Mix. Beat. Add vanilla. MMMMMMM…. please don’t stop posting!
David – What better way to combat apathy than a molasses cookie?
Kari – I’m the same way with a lot recipes. Stir it ’til it looks right, then cook it ’til it’s done. Man, that pisses people off. So taking the time to write out recipes in a cogent fashion has actually been an interesting exercise for me.
It is my hope that I can provide at minimum a little inspiration & maybe a little piece of an idea that you can use somehow.
I’ve cooked some! If you stop writing I’ll cry.
I ate a molasses cookie. Still apathetic, but slightly less so. Now, if I can just come up with some way to resist lintropy.
D – Lintropy, I fear, may be bigger than the both of us – with or without cookies.
At least it’s kind of charming in that bumbly sort of way.
Oh – and, Julia, I promise not to quit. I was just curious about direction, you see; and things that may or may not be worth everyone’s time.
i just found this site, don’t leave me!
your recipes are fabulous! Keep it up!
I like reading them… but I haven’t made any. Just like I haven’t used the delicious tiramisu recipe that’s been in my notebook for several months. Or the gumbo recipe that’s still sitting on my desk…
