Your chocolate min biscotti recipe shows ounce measurement for sugar and oil. Since I do not use your measuring system I must convert to metric. Is the oil ounce a volume measure and the sugar a weight measure?

Browsing around your site looking for dessert recipes, and came across this post from last year ... which made me long for a Nostrana pizza. One of my most vivid food memories is of a pizza I once had there ... mixed wild mushrooms, fresh thyme, mozzarella, topped with a fresh duck egg. It was almost good enough to make me believe in God.

The millet doesn't really soften up too much; that's actually why I like it. It makes for a wonderful little crackly crunch.

Mmm I actually thought about replacing some of the dairy butter with nut butter a while ago but never tried it. Assuming the millet is raw to start with, does it soften up? I've never used it this way.

So, for the record, since writing this I've been back to K&Z's twice for lunch, and my recommendation can only get more emphatic. Eat here! Sheesh.

I totally agree. I've been on a star anise-and-basil kick here at home in the last few days. Lordy, that stuff makes a fine tonic.
